The release date for the full version game is July 6, 2010 in North America, hence the free game will get released prior to that. The game has been developed by Ruffian Games and is being published by Microsoft Game Studios.  As the game is Xbox 360 exclusively, free Crackdown 2 download will be for Xbox 360 only. Like previous game, it will allow the players to engage in online co-op play but this co-op play would not be available in the Crackdown 2 free download. The game also supports single player and multiplayer game play. The plot for the game has been set in the Pacific City. Players role is to assist the agency in battling various crime lords who have put in their hold on the city. Crackdown 2 full version game will consist of various missions and levels and you will get one or two of them only in the free Crackdown 2 download game.

The free game download that you will be getting is not going to be the Crackdown 2 full version. The full version is not distributed free.
