Red Dead Redemption special trophies and cheat codes

Red Dead Redemption cheats are bountiful; already. It’s tough to provide cheats in the order you will need them, because like Grand Theft Auto, for the most part it is up to you what order missions are done in. Of course you will have some missions that are prerequisites for others, but for the most part it is the wide open wild west. Before diving into the cheats, there are a few things to get out first.

* To enable cheats, you first need to go to the options menu. Once there hit the triangle button if you are using a PS3, or the Y button if you are playing on Xbox 360.

* As soon as you enable cheats, you lose the ability to save trophies or even earn them. If that is a big deal to you, forget the cheats.

There are to of cheat codes and shortcuts making the run of the mill, and plenty do work, some are total garbage people put out just to get you to waste time or grow frustrated. All of the codes here do work, they have been tested by various reputable gaming venues and by the author - a good portion of them at least - on a PS3. Given they work fine on that system it is safe to extrapolate they will work equally well on the Xbox 360 as that is the norm for Rockstar games. To get started, the following are cheat codes that do actually work. They are presented in alphabetical order for ease of reference as compiled by Gamer Crave.

1. Activate Sepia Filter “THE OLD WAYS IS THE BEST WAYS”
2. Become a nobody. HUMILITY BEFORE THE LORD
3. Decrease Bounty “THEY SELL SOULS CHEAP HERE”
4. Diplomatic Immunity “I WISH I WORKED FOR UNCLE SAM”
5. Enable the Sepia filter. THE OLD WAYS IS THE BEST WAYS
6. Get $500. THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, WE THANK YOU!
7. Gun Set 2 “I’M AN AMERICAN. I NEED GUNS”
8. Infinite ammo “ABUNDANCE IS EVERYWHERE”
9. Infinite Horse Stamina “MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES”
10. Invincibility “HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEAK”
11. Money($500 on again to get 500 again) “THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, WE THANK YOU!”
12. Play As Jack “OH MY SON, MY BLESSED SON”
13. Spawn a horse. BEASTS AND MAN TOGETHER
14. Spawn Horse “BEASTS AND MAN TOGETHER”
