Maximum Pool (Portable)

If you're one of those players who loses to a pool shark during every trip to the billiards hall, it might be time to pick up a copy of MAXIMUM POOL for the Dreamcast and sharpen your skills. You'll learn twelve different types of billiards, including such traditional favorites as 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Cutthroat, Rotation, Pocket Billiards, Snooker, and Carom. If you're looking for a new challenge, try out a few new selections, including Chameleon Ball, Poker, Rocket Ball, 24 Cents, and Mad Bomber. There are five unique, live video opponents you'll face, each with their own skill level and attitude. Some will give you pointers that will improve your game, while others will just make fun of you and try to throw your shot off. By the time you've mastered all of these games, you'll be ready to show the local pool shark a thing or two!

Billiards has always been a game of ultimate skill and confidence. Unfortunately, it can be pretty embarrassing when you never get a chance to line up the cue ball, as a skilled opponent runs the table before your eyes.

MAXIMUM POOL will give Dreamcast owners a chance to develop skill at 12 different types of billiards, including 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Cutthroat, Rotation, Pocket Billiards, Snooker and Carom against five computer opponents of differing ability levels. These video-captured opponents aren't quiet, though some will offer tips, while others will try to throw you off your game with snide comments and one-liners.
