Hyundai gave its successful verna sedan car a whole new look and upgrade. In fact there is very little similarity between both this one and the previous generation Verna, but in a good way, features stylish looks with cuts and curves makes it look tough. Front of the car looks more dynamic and beautiful with nicely designed head lights and diagonal grills.

On the inside this one gives a more premium feel to it, looks like the most part of the interior is made of leather like material. Everything on the dashboard is located where it needs to be which is more intuitive to those who are used to a sedan car. Front seats are made really comfortable with enough foot space, we must say it definitely looks more spacious on the inside. Back seats should be pretty comfortable for two though it looks spacious, its actually designed for two, you can however squeeze in a third person but that would come at the cost of comfort. There is enough foot rest, though its not plenty but it should be just enough, also the seats are positioned little low and windows are on the higher side, adults should not find it much of an inconvenience, kids should find it hard to peek through the windows.

There is enough safety measures loaded in to the car with four air bags positioned carefully for emergency needs. It features electric power steering which does a good job on straight roads, but its performance looks like bit inconsistent when it comes to the curves, but over all it gives a comfortable feel to drive this one. Auto transmission does a good job although it may not be to the liking of few, its performance while driving up the hill is bit on the average side. It has more boot space from the previous generation. Its most definitely a solid looking car with beefed up suspension that does a good job in the bumps which is most needed for Indian roads.

Available in four different models 1.4 and 1.6 with power output of 107PS and 123 PS respectively for petrol engine and 1.4 and 1.6 engines capacities with power output of 90 PS and 128 PS respectively for diesel engine model car, automatic gear transmission is optional and available for both 1.6L petrol and diesel engine models. Mileage on this one is pretty impressive with around 17.4 kmpl for petrol engine and around 22.3 kmpl for diesel engine model.
