Crashing into enemies and send them flying is fun
Each transformer has unique capabilities.

The bad

Ugly, outdated Visual effects
Strange vehicle physics
Short, repeated campaign.

The second Transformers movie is transformers game. For many longtime fans, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee ' and the other robots in disguise are special characters and hope endures, that one day, the transformers game will come that does justice. Unfortunately, dark of the Moon is not this game. The action in this third-person shooter isn't a  ' t bad, but it also isn't a  ' t anything remarkable. There arenas  ' t any surprises or standout moments during the campaign for a short and shallow multiplayer isn't a  ' t probably that you're coming back for a very long time.

Transformers have evolved over the years, but nothing much changes: Starscream obnoxious jerk from the ground.

Dark of the Moon serves as a prologue to the upcoming movie of the same name. There's a history here for  evil Decepticons looking desperately for something, but the game never makes it clear why we should care about the result, so it's hard to feel  invested in what happens. And because you play as both Autobots and Decepticons, you are not on any side  be sprouting. The suffix underwhelming. nothing has been resolved, and there are no clear winners and losers. We are creating a situation that will play at cineplexes later this summer. The Visual effects don 't support  a sense of global conflict, either. The villages of South America, Mayan temples and other places don 't have many details panel, making them resemble playsets for toy robots from actual locations in the world. It's not unusual to  apprentice pass objects or caught in corners, and destroyed the enemies inexplicably evaporate in smoke and ash. Sounds do a better job of bringing the conflict to life. Various guns and other weapons that use throughout the game sound strong. And Peter Cullen, longtime voice of Optimus Prime, sounds as credible and beneficial, as always.

The campaign spread across seven chapters, each focusing on different transformer (or in one case, two transformers). In the form of a robot, you have several different weapons and abilities available, and the unique abilities of each transformer lend shares a bit of variety from chapter to chapter. The Mirage, for example, masking capabilities, and sniper rifle, and Megatron can drain health from nearby the Autobots. But these abilities, aren ' t fails to utter to prevent shares from falling into a rut of repetitive and boring level design. Do you spend most of your time walking or rolling your way through levels, stopping often to a general explosion of the robots of the opposite faction. In very rare cases, you have to do things a little differently, for example, one section as a mirage for which you have only cloaking abilities and melee attacks at your disposal. But mostly, there's nothing that  makes one battle is significantly different from the next. You fight the same enemies in similar conditions, the standard again and again.

Bumblebee likes to loose every once in a while.

Thus the game leather/'t change things much. But, of course, it's a game of transformers, you can change things up a bit myself almost anytime. In the dark of the Moon, transformers have what is called "stealth force" form that looks like a tricked out, heavily armed version of the form of their vehicle, but allows them to move in all directions. This mobility makes fun form stealth force to control the fire, but their limited means, you'll probably route to spend more time in the form of a robot. Each transformer also takes the form of a car that can be entered only by holding down the shoulder buttons, which makes you forward. This form of isn route, always the most effective offensive weapons, but it's the most fun. Failure of enemy robots sends them flying through the air funny back. It is in an absurd and fun way to send your enemies, although this one note goofiness can only take so long.

Vehicle forms are also useful during specific sections of levels when you need to cover a lot of ground quickly. The controls for vehicle forms are tricky; cars and trucks are smooth and seem to run from a central point, as if their wheels servants  't actually hit the ground. This awkwardness allows precise driving difficult, but this does  't not much. You can usually just driving forward at full speed, clumsily bouncing off the sides of the road, and still no effort to reach your destination. These sections are a breezy end of the third person shooting that part of the game, but the strange controls and smooth physics also make them one of the biggest disappointments of the game. When Bumblebee transforms into vehicle form and speeds down the road, it feels like you're a lightweight  toy control rather than putting the pedal to the metal in a Camaro. The flying sections are also disappointing; during one chapter, pilot you Starscream in jet form, but he flies through the air much too slowly to this exciting.

You know that Megatron is angry when he begins arbitrarily capitalizing words.

Campaign in the Dark the Moon has a multiplayer mode. This category is divided into four transformers. Is fast, airborne hunters, Scouts, a good and hard-hitting the commanders of the warriors. Is the only three game mode: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Conquest, in which the teams earn points for controlling nodes. So much in multiplayer games these days, you earn experience and unlock new levels, the perks (such as a faster speed of foot or automatic grenade-drop when killed) and the new talent (such as healing ability or temporary boost armor and damage all close associates). The battles usually Chaotic with a lot of the players Shooting each other in Close quarters and clobbering. They have a good few fast  and shallow Rock  ' Em ' Em Robots for fun, but they lack of Sock  for a long time, the depth of interest in you. The higher level very quickly, and you can earn all the possibilities of a handful of hours in each category. Low action, only the three basic modes of play and five maps, this quickly loses its multiplayer.

The same could be said of the entire game. The seventh Chapter of the campaign is over quickly and leaves you feeling like has not been resolved. It is more than commercial upcoming  for the film in its own story. On foot through the failure of the blasting and offers some of the robots into account satisfactorily, but the game doesn't  ' t any turnee, and certainly the ' capture disguise spiders fans are hoping that the transformers, the magic doesn. They say that the offer meets the transformers more than meets the eye. But the Moon, which you can see the darkened is common and the perusal of a third person action game, and you'll see exactly is, you get.
