Reliance Communications has launched the Reliance 3G Tab in India, for Rs. 12,999.

The Reliance 3G Tab is an Android based tablet with video calling facility, priced at Rs. 12,999, around 40 percent lower than any similar device currently available in the market.
So, what does it have on offer?
The Reliance 3G Tab is a custom-made device manufactured by the Chinese company ZTE. It is equipped with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and runs on 512MB of RAM. Along with that, it has dual 2-megapixel cameras on the front and back. It offers up to 32GB of storage and runs on the Android Gingerbread OS.
The tablet weighs around 389 gm making it neither too light nor too heavy. It is equipped with features such as MS Documents on the go, Mobile TV, Voice calling, GPS and video recording. Reliance provides user-friendly email on the go.
Reliance plans to entice customers with additional features such as enhanced social networking, video streaming, gaming etc. In addition, it also provides access to thousands of Android apps.
The Reliance 3G Tab has an advantage over other tablets as Reliance is one of the major Internet providers in the country. The Reliance 3G Tab comes with exclusive plans that offer discounts of up to 50 per cent to its tablet consumers.
