Today Direct2Drive announced their new Online Games Channel that features booster packs and bundles for popular online free-to-play PC games.
On Direct2Drive's new site gamers can find starter kits and bundle deals for games like Dungeons & Dragons Online, Fiesta, Free Realms, EverQuest and Puzzle Pirates.
We all know starting from scratch stinks, and the offerings on Direct2Drives new channel lets you spend a few coins to get a leg-up on the competition. For example, in Dungeons and Dragons Online players can purchase a starter pack that includes 2,000 Turbine points, Minor Striding Boots, a Brooch of Waterbreathing, and a Ring of Haggling.
Considering Google also recently announced their app store for Chrome, it looks like your browser could be the game console of the future.
Direct2Drive and IGN are both part of Fox Interactive Media.
